In November 2016 with the launch of their new site, AIGA Eye on Design challenged us to develop a social presence to showcase their editorial content, designer projects, and create a social community for creatives. Our goal was increase engagement and impressions as well as social-driven sales for their Conference as well as newly launched Eye on Design Magazine.
To kick-off our partnership, we launched Eye on Design's social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) as well as their new branding for one consistent identity across all digital platforms. Through a focused social strategy, we increased engagement, impressions, and followers on all channels and built Eye on Design into a pivotal design and creative account to connect with on social. With the launch of their Conference and Magazine, we have created strategies to launch and build excitement around each new aspect of the growing digital and print brand with Q+A's, giveaways, designer takeovers, and user generated content.
Since November 2016, follower growth increased by 258.4k across all channels
Engagements increased weekly by an average 155.9% a result of 1.9m total
Impressions increased weekly by an average of 367.35% with a total of 45.3M
Drove 15% of magazine sales from social channels
CAN WE DESIGN A MORE PERFECT DESIGN UNION?
WHAT HAPPENS WHE YOU TRY TO START A DESIGN UNION?
We helped capture a night of unity when students and recent grads; small business owners and studios-of-one; freelancers and independent contractors; CEOs and entrepreneurs; educators and mentors all came together to discuss the rights and wrongs of the way we work today, and what can be done about it.
